Since the advent of lithium battery, with its excellent performance and incomparable advantages has been rapidly developed, and has been widely used in various scenarios, rapidly occupy many fields. However, most people are not very clear about the use and maintenance of lithium battery packs. In order to better and safer use of lithium battery, this article explains in detail the correct maintenance methods and matters needing attention of lithium battery pack.
Do not charge the lithium battery from the discharge terminal. Use a special charger to charge the battery from the charging socket. When the charging indicator bar on the charger stops rolling, please unplug the charging plug in time to avoid overcharging the battery.
Lithium battery pack provides overcurrent protection. When the use current of electrical equipment exceeds the maximum output current of the product, the overcurrent protection circuit will act, and the use of electrical equipment can not work normally.
The output of the discharge terminal is not controlled by the switch on the panel, and the output is turned off only when the battery voltage is below 9.0V. Switches on the panel control the display and the output from the USB socket. When the switch is turned on and the battery voltage is lower than 9.1V, the display screen will blink at a frequency of one second to remind you that you should charge in time. When the battery voltage is lower than 9.1V, the display screen will turn off 9.0V and the USB socket will turn off the output to protect the lithium battery from being overlaid. Although the output short circuit protection function, but in daily use should not be frequent short circuit positive and negative output.
The normal charge and discharge cycle of lithium batteries is about 500 to 800 times. Lithium batteries at the end of their life should be recycled in accordance with local laws.
(1) the temperature should be appropriate, lithium battery charging temperature 0℃ ~ 45℃, lithium battery discharge temperature -20℃ ~ 60℃;
(2) Should be in a clean, dry and ventilated environment, avoid contact with corrosive substances, away from fire, heat source;
(3) Lithium battery pack has no memory effect, can be used while charging, but pay attention to lithium battery can not over discharge. Overdischarge will cause very large capacity loss;
(4) Do not mix the battery with metal objects, so as to avoid metal objects contact the positive and negative poles of the battery, resulting in short circuit, damage to the battery and even cause danger;
(5) Avoid frequent overcharging. Overcharging can cause the internal temperature of the battery to rise, which is harmful to lithium-ion batteries and chargers. So a full charge is enough to turn your lithium battery into a little bomb.
Battery is consumable, its life is fixed (charge and discharge times are usually 300-500 times), so master the correct use method is the secret of extending battery life.
Charging: The safe operating voltage range of lithium batteries is 2.8~4.2V, below or above this voltage range, lithium ions in the battery will become very unstable, and even cause accidents. To ensure that the battery is within a safe range, a special charger is required.
Lithium batteries need to be charged and discharged every three months to restore their original performance.
Avoid frequent use in high or low temperatures. It's best to do it at room temperature, because temperature has a big impact on the characteristics of lithium batteries.
